Help me Larry! My bookclub is reading one of your books..we pick which one we want to read and we will discuss the books we have read. I just moved here from Texas…lived there for 55 years! I now live in Park Rapids. I just googled you..I am going to read The Disappearance of Sherlock Holmes! I have never read any old Sherlock books or any of yours. Can you give me a short course on your first 4 books and tell me about Sherlock. I know you are busy but I will cherish anything you tell me and I will share it at bookclub. Thank you! Susan Bearden
Thanks for your message. The books page on my website will give you information about all six of my mystery novels. I suggest you start with the first, Sherlock Holmes and the Red Demon. It was recently reissued by the University of Minnesota Press. I’m afraid I can’t give you a short course on Sherlock — the topic is way too large — but there are any number of good introductions to his character available on line.
